Great happy hour and lunch specials. Want to give a shoutout to the two girls working on 9/29/19 (Sunday night). There was a big family that came in before me and the two of them worked really hard to get everything out fresh, quick and tasting great.

I'm giving a review on the personnel not the food. I love the food and it's so convenient, satisfying and delicious.
Yesterday, July 6, I went to Walmart and stopped by Sushi Boy. I wanted the Manager's Lunch Special of $8.99 and this is what the lady at charged me for $12.81. It was after I had eaten that I realized that I was not given the Special but charged separately. I was not expecting any money but it would be my last visit. -

Stopped by here for a quick dinner. The restaurant was very clean & neat. The cashier was friendly & did explain the "happy hour " specials are for dine in only, which was a bummer. I ended up getting the salmon trio & it was pretty good & would definitely try this spot again in the future.

I recently ordered a tempura platter to go for a New Years Day party. I pre-ordered the tray about a week in advance and I was happy to see that they were going to be open on New Years Day, as many places were closed.
On New Years Day we picked up the platter and I was shocked to see so many orders! They had pre-made many sushi and tempura platters and were just waiting for their customers to pick them up.
The tempura platter was big, but expensive. We paid $39.95 plus tax. A platter like that should be more like $29.95. After all, it's just vegetables fried in tempura batter.
Since they pre-made the platter, the tempura was cold and soggy by the time we got to our party. Another reason why I don't think it was worth the price tag.
I haven't tried any of their other items at this location, so I can't comment on the sushi or other offerings. I would just not recommend the tempura platter unless you can eat it hot (right after they make it). -

So I'm sitting here at the counter high seats as I write this. I'm probably not going to come back. Ever. The service is nice. But I was just casually watching the guy with the glasses and mustache make my beef bowl in the microwave. He gets the meat and veggies and puts them in a bowl. With his bare hands. No gloves. I keep watching and he notices me looking at him through the cooking equipment. Then he starts to make my chicken bowl. Let me say that the food is cold and precooked and they way they heat it up is by microwave. Only this time, since I caught him without gloves, he puts them on. But I just want to say, I'm grossed out. The same guy who prepared my food is the same guy who took my order at the register. Will not be coming back. Pic is for reference where I was sitting. I didn't catch the guy in the act on time unfortunately.
